Ok so how can I put this....My favorite author Robert Jordan whose "Wheel of Time" series I have been reading since 1990 died one week ago...the thing that sucks is book 12, the last book, still had not been completed...and I have no idea if it ever will and if someone does finish it, will it suck?...be the same?...better??.....for 17 years of my life I have been reading this series and it all was going to be over soon...Book 12 !!!!!! That is a lot of reading, a lot of re-reading, a lot of time....i've finished High School, finished College, gotten Married, had a Child, bought a House, been with my current job for 10 years!!! That is half of my life and my entire adult life! And all along the way was this series that I would re-read in anticipation of the newest book which would come out every 2 years or so.....
I am horrified....
I can never read that series again.....
I used to want to be those characters in that world....
I NAMED MY SON AFTER ONE OF THOSE CHARACTERS!!!!!!!

Let me tell you why I don't eat this late at night when I have to go to bed soon after. The dreams...oh my god the dream I had last night/early this morning.
Ok so Melody and I were at an ATM machine in an old neighboorhood that I grew up in...it wouldn't take my card for some reason and then somehow I got a vius in my accounts? Whatever...all hell broke loose....the ATM discharged a can of mace under my car and the smoke got all inside the car as I took off....then the police.
They chased me through I don't know how many states...finally they caught up to me in some building that I was staying in....they shot me about 30 times in the ass with some kind of new gun that has some kind of sleep agent...small little metal things...I don't know....somehow I escaped that too....then I realized somehow that I was wanted in 10 counties for stealing and what-not...apparently someone stole my identy....
So I ended up at this "safe" town that I always go to whenever I am in trouble...everyone knows me there and I'm friends with everyone...people that i've known over the years, those I went to school with..ect...it's a Twisted Metal/Tony Hawk kind of town...
So I go into the main bar there and everyone is sleeping...but then I hear the main bell in town.....

REPOST:: Things that bump in the night......

Ok for anyone of you that really know me, I don't believe in ghosts and all that crazy nonsense...however, let me tell you what happened last night on my way home from work....
It was about 10:45pm and I was on 95 south just after passing the 8-95 interchange...I was talking on the phone when I heard this small bang under my car...now keep in mind I am going 70mph...at first I thought a rock kicked up from the ground and hit the undercarriage of my car....but then it happened again about 10 seconds later....and a little louder...
Ok so now I am thinking that there must be some gravel on the road left over from some stupid truck that had too much in the bed....but then it happened again....and even louder....
Now I am thinking that maybe something is amiss under my car...like perhaps my wheel is clicking something or hell I don't know...something! I'm i'm getting worried that something is about to break and fall off my car...then I heard a loud knock that sounded this time like it came from my trunk....
Ok, now that was very weird indeed...I know there is nothing banging around in there cause first, I'm going straight and second, there is nothing in there...at this point I don't even know what the person I am talking to on the phone is saying anymore cause I'm not listening....
And then the big series of bangs and knocks....
Loud as hell and coming from the roof of my car right above my head...it sounded like someone was on top of my car beating the roof with their fist...I freaked the hell out...and just like that it all went away....
Now what the hell was that?? I inspected my car the next morning and nothing I could tell was wrong with it...there is pollen on top of the car so If something was up there it would have left a mark...nothing...
So there you have my interesting story....supernatual? I don't even want to think that....

WoT Books
So today is the day that I will meet Brandon Sanderson and Harriett. We will be leaving shortly for our drive to Hanover Maryland. This is such a treat for me. I have been reading these books since 1990...20 years. Time has really moved by. So much has happened in my life since I began this series. The other cool thing is that my wife Melody is going to be able to take photos of them and MAYBE join them for diner! Should be a fun day indeed!
